A crawler mobile crusher is a self-contained crushing system mounted on a heavy-duty rubber track chassis (similar to excavators or bulldozers). Unlike tire-mounted mobile crushers (limited to smooth roads), crawler models thrive in rough, off-road conditions. Its integrated design combines a crusher (jaw, cone, impact, or VSI), vibrating feeder, screening system (optional), and conveyor belts—all on one chassis. This means no separate installation, concrete foundations, or external power sources (most are diesel-powered, with electric options available). It is used to crush raw materials (ores, rocks, construction waste) into usable aggregates or processed material on-site, reducing the need to haul uncrushed material to fixed plants.
